Kirke - Trakai   | | 2009-05-12 23:24:18
These are cool. You should add Trakai Castle, on an island on a lake in Lithuania. It's not too fancy, but it's in good shape and it has a great setting.

Nice collection of pictures. Europe has some great castles, although many are more like fortified manor houses. I always loved Warwick Castle, been there a few times, and Corfe Castle in Dorset is a favourite of mine too.
Astrid     | | 2009-05-17 18:56:25
Where is the 23rd one (3rd from the bottom)? It's like out of a fairy tale.

Some great looking castles there. Some English ones you might want to look out for are Bodiam, Arundel, Alnwick and of course the Tower of London.

What great shots...sure to bring out the romantic in all of us. Don't you just wish that they could talk; oh, the stories they could tell.

Being a Scot, I am partial to those, but the ones with mountain surroundings are spectacular!
Kayla - twenty-third pic   | | 2009-07-02 02:13:54
Do you know anything about the twenty-third pic? I found that pic elsewhere and didn't know if it was real or photoshopped.
