Ratkingalicious has GOT IT RIGHT. These castles are so beautiful to look at, but oh! There is nothing so cold as big stone walls in winter with no central heating. The chill goes to the centre of your bones!

Very nice castles, but there are a lot missing. Have you seen the Castle of Hunedoara from Romania, for example. It's one of the most beautiful.

The reference of the Loreto island to the town of Loreto Aprutino, in middle south of Italy is icorrect, since the Loreto Island is into the Iseo lake, in north of Italy.
