On the steamy latitude of 18 degrees north sits an exotic island. It basks in year-round summer sunshine and breathes in near-perfect air. It lays encircled by pristine beaches and gleaming turquoise water. Hainan Island has often been called the Chinese Hawaii, and indeed, it is the only tropical beach destination in China.
