"You are worried about seeing him spend his early years in doing nothing. What! Is it nothing to be happy? Nothing to skip, play, and run around all day long? Never in his life will he be so busy again."

The photos by Dani Brubaker of the children dressed up as Native Americans literally shocked me, I thought we were beyond that form of blatant racism. It is not acceptable and is by no means art!!!

How in the hell is this racism? Come on now, i distinctly remember being 6 years old (in Bosnia, Europe) and having some of the most beautyfull, happiest memories of my life while playing Indians with my friends and relatives. Enlighten me please, because i just cant see any kind of insult or racism in this.

I don't get the racism comment AT ALL. My kids dress up as lots of different ethnicities as they think it's cool to be someone else for a day. It's call "pretend" in case you haven't ever heard of it. My caucasian daughter picked out an african american baby at the store the other day. If I would have photographed her playing with it and put it online, would I be a racist too??
Native Americans are our ancestors, and I know we spend a lot of time talking about how their heritage in our house, which is always intriguing to my kids.

I think you need to look at your own issues before getting on the internet and judging other people.

I am native and dont find this even slightly racist. Theyre children PLAYING. Dont project your own issues onto them.

Good pictures, I liked them
