1. Amazon (South America)
The Amazon Rainforest, also known as Amazonia, the Amazon jungle or the Amazon Basin, encompasses seven million square kilometers (1.7 billion acres), though the forest itself occupies some 5.5 million square kilometers (1.4 billion acres), located within nine nations. The Amazon represents over half of the planet's remaining rainforests and comprises the largest and most species-rich tract of tropical rainforest in the world. The Amazon River is the largest river in the world by volume, with a total flow greater than the top ten rivers worldwide combined. It accounts for approximately one-fifth of the total world river flow and has the biggest drainage basin on the planet. Not a single bridge crosses the Amazon.

The Chrysanthemum Ball is an incredibly bright annual holiday that takes place in the Nikitsky Botanical Garden, situated near Yalta, and attracts tens of thousands of tourists. It is usually held from mid-October until mid-November.
Botanical garden’s employees traditionally plant more than 300 kinds of these amazing flowers having different colors, shapes and sizes. The festival ends with selection of the most beautiful chrysanthemum, which gets the title of the Ball’s Queen. The rose exhibition ‘Garden of Eden’ will take place at the same time as the Chrysanthemum Ball in the Nikitsky Botanical Garden. In addition, one can admire blossoming of the giant Furcraea.
The annual Chrysanthemum Ball is carried out since 1953. At that time chrysanthemums were brought from China and the first exhibition was organized.
