Will Meratol Work For You?

Everyone wants to look their best. It’s a simple fact of modern humanity, just as are the facts that people need to breathe and eat to live. Unfortunately, looking your best takes quite a bit more effort than most people want to put in, and even those who genuinely enjoy the effort frequently have a hard time fitting in all their fitness obligations.

You’re supposed to shop healthy, cook healthy, eat healthy, fit time in to exercise, read about what’s good for and what’s not . . . When all is said and done, there’s almost no time left for anything else in the day.

It’s clear why people want help, and so, why people pay so much money for just about anything that promises to make the journey easier. Unfortunately, there are only a few things that actually will make that journey easier. One of the more recent discoveries in the science of assisted weight loss is Meratol.

Unlike most supplements that claim to do just what Meratol does, Meratol has some actual hard evidence to back up its claims, in addition to several celebrity sponsors. It’s not a panacea, for sure – Meratol has its shortcomings – but it’s easy to see that the benefits are great, so let’s take a look at what it does and what you can expect from it.

What Is Meratol, Anyway?

Meratol is a supplement that comes as a blend of four main ingredients: Caffeine, capsicum, prickly pear, and brown algae. Each of these compounds has been shown in clinical studies to have significant effects on weight loss, helping patients lose quite a bit more weight (up to 15% more, in some cases) than those on placebo substances.

Each of these substances does a handful of specific things, such as blocking carbs and speeding up your metabolism, but at the end of the day, you just need to understand that the blend is intended to help increase diet induced thermo genesis (that is, it helps to increase your metabolism), help manage appetite, help you develop a more favorable blood profile.

Whether or not Meratol has a significant effect on blood profile in the long-term isn’t something we know yet (chances are it doesn’t really do much good or bad, as your diet determines this almost exclusively), but many people have reported pretty positive weight-loss results, at the very least.
How much people lost varied directly with their diet and exercise habits, so Meratol can’t be expected to do all the work for you, but everyone lost more weight while using Meratol than before, meaning you can expect it to help.

What Exactly Can I Expect?

It’s always a good idea to think about what you’ll have to go through before popping a pill of any sort, and the same holds true with Meratol. Many similar diet pills are high in caffeine and other stimulants, making them rather uncomfortable experiences for sensitive people. Meratol is luckily not like this. It contains just enough caffeine to stimulate the metabolism, but not so much that anyone should feel jittery.

The other ingredients – prickly pear, brown algae extract, and capsicum – don’t have much effect on how you feel, unless you take a lot more than you were supposed to. Some people do experience a slight blushing of the skin after taking capsicum, however. This just means your circulatory system is in good shape, and the “inner warmth” this brings on is a pleasant experience for most people.

Even if you feel somewhat uncomfortable because of the caffeine at first, you’ll quickly develop a tolerance to it. So, if it’s not that annoying, you’re probably fine just waiting for the discomfort to subside.

Even though Meratol has been shown to be effective in clinical studies, just how much you will lose isn’t something you can really predict. However, if you’ve been losing weight consistently with your current plan, you can bet Meratol will kick that into overdrive. People with healthy diets and solid fitness habits have reported increases of up to 20% in speed of weight loss, for instance.

The Verdict

Overall, Meratol is a clearly effective product I definitely recommend. It’s new, so it’s hard to figure out exactly how much you can expect to lose, and it’s relatively mild, so you can’t just pop Meratol and hope it will nullify all your other bad eating habits, if you happen to have any. That said, it’s practically guaranteed to help you lose more than you’ve been losing, faster than you’ve been losing, and more easily than you’ve been losing, making it an excellent investment for anyone with a vested interest in his or her health and looks.
